Where are you from originally? I am from New Jersey, born and raised. However, I do not watch the Sopranos, I do not “fist pump”, and I think ‘The Jersey Show’ is an absolutely appalling show. However, I do love the boarwals of New Jersey, no longer notice the strange smells that are associated with various cities, and am not afraid of what some people consider dangerous areas! My entire life I have been able to look out the window and see what colors the Empire State Building is and I have never been more than half an hour away from NYC. As Deatch Cab For Cutie wrote it the city is my home/construction noise all day long…
Where are you most comfortable? I am comfortable ANYWHERE, i adapt. If you are asking me where I like to be, it is by the ocean reading a book or listing to my Ipod, or with my friends in our favorite bar, or doing a poetry reading, or just hanging our with my hubby and brother, playing MarioKart Wii… and I love to be in the passenger seat of a car singing!
What do you see when you look out your window? my favorite view is out of my kitchen window. It looks out on some trees and our neighbor’s yards. I wish that I had my own yar so that I could grow tomatoes but I am not that lucky.
Describe your current home! open… lots of books and movies, I love my cds! Above the television is my signed RENT poster and above the couch is my favorite ink drawing my best friend from Indiana brought me when we met last year and a series of photos my husband took of me (he is a freelance photographer)… lots of faeries and ocean inspired art, especially lighthouses.. and it looks like a tornado hit it right now, because I have not cleaned in almost a month!
And now a typical "hang-out" of yours! Is it well-known or obscure? Populated or empty? What do you go there for? Are you a "regular"? let’s see…I guess I have a hangout now… on the weekends I do my poetry readings , and I am definitely a regular there! I can also be found at the beach, any beach… the ocean is my true home.
