New Louis XIV album... can't decide if it's better or worse or just so different I can't manage it right now. But I do like it!

Hmmmn. A difficult call indeed! "Thief In the Choir" definitely doesn't grab me as quickly and decisively as, say, "Pledge of Allegiance" or "The Distances From Everyone To You." But it's not bad, either. This could be one of those songs that just takes a bit of time to grow on a person--like fungus! If it's representative of the rest of the album's contents, then it may take a little time to figure out just how it rates relative to the rest of Louis XIV's oeuvre.

In other news, I haven't forgotten that I owe you a meme thing! Honest!
