A good old-fashioned political rant

This is it. On October 14th, 2008, Canadians will cast their votes for the leaders of the federal government. Doesn't it seem like we just did that?

I was just happy at having a chance at voting him out. I hadn't given it that much thought, probably because I am not THAT political... You make good points. If he put the money he is spending on an election (which likely won't change much), into something productive we'd be that much farther ahead and I'd have more respect for him even if it wasn't one of the issues I think is a priority. I'm rather surprised no one HAS called him on breaking his on election law. The opposition should, even though this is their chance, because even though the election is going ahead it wouldn't hurt to have Harper looking like the fool he is. Even if the Conservatives were a minority government I'd be happier. I don't like the Conservatives having power at this crucial time for the environment and international relations. I'll read up on things again, but I think I already know how I'm voting. The Liberal leader is too weak in my opinion, the NDP has too many goals to stay focused, and even if I could vote for the Bloc I wouldn't because of ( ... )
