I just finished a delightful month enjoying the company of cheekyweebisom, dropping her (and R.W.) off at the airport this morning. We didn't do much but hang out - although the two of them and patchwerkgirl did teach me to play Settlers of Catan. Badly. (Play, that is - not teach). Now, back to our knitting.

I miss cheekyweebisom already, but it was nice to see her (and her cute boy...so adorable!)...but yes, *ahem*, back to our knitting! Socks! When is good for you? (Not Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday)

Tonight (Monday) is ok. So is Wednesday. Thursday I have choir, so it would have to be after 9:30. You can call or email me.

Also, I just got a book about how to make 2 socks at once on a long circular needle. So, if you want to try that, you will need a 40" circular needle. If you want to do "sock yarn" (fingering weight), get a size 1 needle; if you want to do light worsted (like Brown Sheep superwash), get a size 5 or 6 needle. Do get superwash yarn unless you are committed to always handwashing your product!

If you know a baby, you can do your first pair in baby size to learn the technique. In that case, get fingering weight baby yarn (it will be acrylic). Call if you have questions.
