Sometimes it's absurd how one's parents still think one remains their baby well after one's seventeenth birthday. It's not that I mind the biscuits, or the new scarf and mittens and woollen socks, or the obvious, lovely fact that they care I'm warmly clothed when it starts to get cold, it's more how they imply I might be helpless if they didn't
