It's about time you posted. LOL
OK, here is what you do. Uninstall Serious Sam. Remove every instance of it and Croteam from the registery.
Put the cd in, install openGL, reboot your machine. Then install the game. That's how I had to do it and it runs for me on XP Pro.
So you are giving the wife a new machine, way to go buddy. I know she will like it a lot better than her old one.
