I like so many others would prefer to see an end to Saddam's regime. A new iraq with a responsible government, democratically elected by the people of iraq would pave the way for stability in the region ( Read more... )

I just read some reports on CNN.com. They are saying just about the same thing you are.

I'm willing to bet the bottom line is about oil!

I dont doubt OIL has something to do with the motives behind the sudden urgency to take action.

There has been no real solid evidence that anything of mass destruction has been found. The last I knew there were 3 empty, non-funtional warheads. I imagine they have been disposed of by now ( ... )

I've been well thanks Dave, yep I got DSL running, its not as fast as cable, but a hell of a lot faster than what I had. I'll reinstall ICQ soon. I went back to Win ME, WinXP is too finiky about hardware upgrades.
How much mileage did you get from your burner??

I also dont trust Iraq. However the US cannot ignore the rest of the world and decide to go it alone without making itself look like the BULLY here.
Not to mention the Britian & Australia whom have already deployed troops alongside the US.

I agree.

Sadly Bush thinks he is extreme ruler and that he is going to do this one way or another.

The thing is he will not listen to our Congress or the people of his own country.
This pisses me off.

We put him into office and I think we'll take him out.

His approval waiting has dropped drastically.

I see his agenda as something personal and not so much about oil anymore.
I think a lot of people are seeing this as his finishing up what his father has started.

I believe that being part of the UN means we should follow them.

It seems like the US Gov is always playing Big Brother (BULLY).
Well, hope that you are having a good weekend.

Getting excited about being your soon to be granchild?

To be honest, I havent really given the grandfather thing much thought. I feel more like my son is gonna be a father rather than me a grandfather LOL.
I justheard some US General state on FOXNEWS that we wont find any weapons because they are all being guarded by the iraqi military and Saddams own elite guards. If this is the case WHY hasnt Powel said anything about this ????

Wish they would stop fucking around with everyone lives and put all cards on the table.
