Today's the anniversary of the court case Loving vs. Virginia, the case that struck down anti-miscegenation laws in 1967.
Forty one years later, we're likely to elect a president whose parents could have been jailed in certain states at the time of his birth.
Progress. Gays and lesbians still don't have marriage equality, though.

Her daddy was black and her mommy is Japanese, so they just married overseas. What really sucks was that her dad fought in the army- you'd think defending the country could get you some equal rights.
