a lot has been said about how to prevent rape.
women should learn self-defense. women women should lock ourselves in their houses after dark. women shouldn't have long hair and women shouldn't wear short skirts. women shouldn't leave drinks unattended. fuck, they shouldn't dare to get drunk at all.

Exactly! And that's why some women feel that a man doing something polite like that is because we (men) feel that a woman is dainty and inferior and needs someone to do it for them. Which is not the case; it's just culture, but you know that. I was just explaining why the chiquitas get mad.
