A sudden warm snap had caused the snow to begin to melt. Donning a light winter jacket Luna headed outside to enjoy the messy slush. Most of the school seemed busy working on the homework they seemed to have forgotten about, or avoiding the messy weather

It had been a busy Sunday for Parvati, and she had just finished a couple hours of Prefect rounds (confiscating a few banned objects in the process). Some fresh air was neccessary to her, so after returning to the Common Room and dressing for the weather, she headed outside for some quiet time.

She saw that Luna had the same idea, so she went over to her. "Hi, Luna! Having a good weekend?" she greeted her. The Prefect didn't know her all that well, but she talked to anyone and decided to chat with her.

"Yes, I am," she smiled. "You?"

Luna shifted her weight, causing her foot to make a squeltching noise.

"Not bad, just enjoying the weather and some quiet time. How are preparations for your OWLS shaping up?" she asked Luna curiously.

The girl was startled by the question. Though every single teacher had reminded them upon their return from break, Luna had forgotten about the all important tests, being so wrapped up in the re-grading.

"I haven't done much, but I don't really beleive in standardized tests."

Lisa looked up from her book when she heard the sound of squelching mud and smiled at the familiar 5th year from her house.

"Hi Luna. How are you doing?"

She jumped down from the rock where she had been sitting and walked over to the younger girl.
