I agree with 100% of your post. I don't understand why people have to go out and knock people down. People are so insecure with themselves, and are so unhappy with themselves that they have to go out and make others just as unhappy. I think in this case, schadenfreude can apply. I guess. But I just see that as a response to being so unhappy with oneself. People need to realize that they're not the only ones with feelings. They don't live alone in the world. Their actions do matter and have consequences (which I hope come along very soon & I'm a big believer in karma) regardless of who they intend to hurt.
