So, I'm bored and procrastinatey. Naturally, I begin looking at personal ads on Kijiji for the amusement factor. Seriously, read the "casual encounters", they're hilarious and horrifying at the same time

"OMG I just want to take care of you and give you everything a beautiful princess like you deserves, you soft and gentle female you."
Rule number 1:
If it's free, take it.
* I mean, I see what you're saying. You don't want him to treat you as like you're incapable of being independent. But really? Turn down free stuff? Don't do it! *
These are the deal breakers I have learned for myself:
1. Lying. 2. Cheating. 3. Smoking/too many drugs/too much drinking. Don't do it! Unfortunately you don't usually find these things out until after you are somewhat involved...urgh.
Moderately random: Understanding nerdy references usually comic book and video game wise, appreciating superheroes, doing active things, asking me out to coffee instead of supper because i have weird restaurant/supper issues and COFFEE'S BETTER, uhmm...liking going for walks. Not being a dick. APPRECIATING MY SENSE OF HUMOUR AND VICE VERSA. Not pushing for sex, or placing huge value on it because I'm bound to be a huge disappointment in that area unless I fake my way through, which is what usually happens.
Hm, I might steal this and make my own when I have time :P
Funny you mentioned the superstitious thing, lol, as you might have noticed/read I have a minor huge crush on F1 driver Sebastian Vettel, and he's like the most superstitious person I've ever heard of (outside wacky MTV real life specials). He only gets out of his car on one side, names his car, has lucky coins in his shoe, and some more charms in his pocket, and if there's a black cat somewhere on the road, he will turn and take another road. LOL. From afar it's kind of adorable, but I guess it would get annoying if you had to take that other road with him every time xD
Lol! I agree, it's the kind of thing that can be adorable from afar. And really, I do believe superstition can be beneficial in some situations - like if you have some event that you need confidence for, it can be helpful to put your mind on something outside yourself. "Hey, I'm wearing my lucky shirt, it's going to be a good day today!" Because thinking positively helps contribute to making things better.
The thing that annoys the hell out of me is the opposite of that. "It's hopeless! Our mascot tripped and fell, therefore we are going to lose the game!" NO PEOPLE. They are independent events that have no real effect on each other!!
Last weekend I went to a casino basically for the first time for a friend's birthday. Obviously that's a place that has a lot of potential to irritate me, lol. Things like "Oh, the same number never comes up twice in a row in roulette." NO!!! That number has just as much chance of coming up again as any other number!!
