So I claimed this simple little fic in the quicky_bang, and at first blush, it seems ominous. At second blush? IT'S DELICIOUSLY HEART-BREAKING! So of course I had to illustrate it.

OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW AWESOMELY HEARTBREAKING THIS IS!!!!! When you chose my little prompt, I was over the moon and now I'm actually looking at what you've created and it's blown up all my expectation because it's perfect. I mean PERFECT!!!! From that absolutely soul destroying look in the Sam's eyes, to Dean's silhouette, the tall trees and the starry sky, the gif that highlights Dean's profile beautifully in the torchlight, and the static image as we see bloodied Sam, but they you go and give me a hint of that red letter L on Dean's Led Zeppelin T shirt that Sam stole and I'm lost for words.

Thank you so very much for this - it's a thing of pure beauty, and I'm so excited I could burst!!!! If it's OK with you, I'll post a link in the fic to the art too. Honestly I feel so wired right now I can't focus *smishes you do darn hard*

I'm so glad you love it. In my mind's eye, I had this idea of what I wanted the animation to do but I don't have the smarts to figure it out yet. YET! I'll get there one day...
