We've been watching M*A*S*H on on TVLand pretty much every day. I've always loved this show. But, in particular, the episodes where Major Sidney Freedman (the psychiatrist) is featured. I like how they get into these really deep issues when he's a guest star. I like seeing the more serious side of these characters

I agree about the ensemble aspect. Some characters had their own episodes (like "Hawkeye" where he had to keep talking to stay awake because he had a concussion and he was the only main cast member in the whole episode) and then they went and did episodes that featured some characters that were usually in the background. Watching the reruns really makes me wish that today's sitcoms would follow this example.
I don't watch any of the sitcoms on TV today. I can't stand them. I tried to get into Community, but a few characters got grating after a while and I couldn't make myself watch it anymore.
