Please note: Because Little Boy is such an obscure character in the comic books, I've had to fill in quite a few spots here and there with head-canon. Those parts will be written in bold, as I was directed to
here. I do realize that there's a lot of head-canon here, but for whatever reason, Little Boy really clicked with me when I read the comic, and I was sad to learn that she never appeared in another. Wasted potential, in my opinion. I've tried my best to keep her spirit solidly in all of the head-canon bits. =)
1. Character's Name: Nozomi Ikari, Little Boy
2. Fandom: DC (specifically Batman) comics
3. Time Frame: After the Broken City story arc
4. Age: b<>21
5. Background: There's not much known about Little Boy's background- the most anybody really knows about her is that she grew up in a poor fishing village in Japan. In her late teens, she moved from the village to a larger city and met Fatman. The two clicked immediately, neither of them ever having been particularly well at staying on the right side of the law and living out an honest life. The two grew close very quickly, and soon became lovers, hatching a scheme to start up a business. Not legal business, of course- they became involved with both drug and human trafficking (NOTE: One of the important plot points in the arc that they are in is the big, money-making business they are running, and a shipment of which is stolen from them by the Penguin. This business was never clearly stated. It can easily be assumed that drugs were part of it, but it always seemed like something bigger, more drastic, more seedy to me, thus the human trafficking). Realizing that there were better cities to run this kind of business in, they relocated themselves to Little Tokyo in Gotham, where they swiftly started building a reputation for themselves- a reputation of cruelty and fear.
The first time we see Little Boy in the Broken City story arc is towards the end of the second issue. Batman had gone to Little Tokyo to investigate a murder; he goes to see a man called Johnny, who’s a car thief and is working on a car in an industrial garage. While Batman is questioning Johnny in his own not-nice, Batman-y way, they suddenly hear someone running above them (on these bar-like pieces of metal equipment holder… things)- the person running is so fast that Batman thinks to himself that it’s like that person isn’t even there. Johnny, hearing the running, begins panicking in a big way, babbling that he didn’t tell Batman anything, he swears, he promises, he didn’t tell him nothing, before trying to attack Batman. Batman throws Johnny aside easily, but is then viciously attacked, receiving multiple blows to the face and torso (which is unusual for Batman). The blows are enough to cause Batman to fall and crack his head on the concrete floor of the car garage, knocking him unconscious. In the narration, Batman says “As the lights went dim, the last thing I heard was Johnny begging for his life between sobs”.
Johnny’s begging, though, didn’t work for Little Boy. After becoming conscious again, Batman follows a trail of blood and vomit, and finds that Johnny had dragged himself into a corner, where he had died- Little Boy had beaten Johnny “so severely and thoroughly that his body was the colour of an overripe plum”.
Batman finds out from the Penguin that Angel (the murderer) made a deal with Fatman and Little Boy. The Penguin mentions that they haven’t approached him yet (Penguin basically peddles information), but is confident that they eventually will. He tells Batman that Angel has ‘something of theirs’ that they want moved.
Batman goes to Little Tokyo to find out more about these new people and their connection to Angel. Once again, he is attacked by Little Boy, although she only kicks him in the back this time, before talking to him. It’s pretty much a basic discussion- the gist of it is that Little Boy and Fatman tell Batman that they’re going to find Angel before he does.
Batman learns from the Penguin that Angel made an offer to Fatman and Little Boy, trying to get them to buy back what he stole from them. They agree to meet with him, obviously planning to kill him and take back what was theirs. Batman deduces this, and finds their meeting place- the same car garage where Johnny died, his blood still puddled on the floor and spattered on the windows. While Batman trades words with Fatman, he asks where Little Boy is… and she once again moves too fast for Batman and begins beating him up. She disappears again, and Fatman grabs Batman (… heh), holding him for Little Boy, who continues beating Batman. Her outfit, however, with it’s buckles, becomes her downfall. Batman grabs ahold of one of her wrist straps, throwing her off balance and onto the floor, giving him the upper hand. He twists himself out of Fatman’s grip, throwing Fatman on top of Little Boy; during the fight, he knocked both of them out. When the police arrive, they are arrested, and go without a fight… although not without some resentful glares from Little Boy. Fatman just looked sad, though.
Her and Fatman only stayed in prison a short time, before they managed to break out- how, no one's quite sure. They returned to their former business of the trafficking both of drugs and humans, swiftly setting up a wide network of connections and hired thugs. Their reputation restored almost completely, everything went smoothly until the Penguin found them again, demanding recompense for, as he put it, 'past dues'. Another squabble between Cobblepot and Little Boy and Fatman erupted, ending when Fatman was supposedly kidnapped by the Penguin and killed after Little Boy refused to pay the demanded ransom. In truth, they hadn't kidnapped Fatman- he had, somehow, gone missing (not a rare occurrence in Gotham, even considering Fatman's monstrous size), and the Penguin had been bluffing, trying to bring down both Little Boy's reputation and to drain her of most of her funds. With Fatman gone, Little Boy soon set out to find a new partner, which proved harder than she had thought it would. While there were plenty willing to fill the position, none, in her opinion, stood up to the standards Fatman had created- who's presence she now realized she sorely missed, not so much on a personal level, but business-wise. Still, she managed to keep up her small realm of control on her own, and with Little Tokyo almost completely under her control, she was content- for awhile, at least.
6. Personality: Little Boy is, first and foremost, an extremely selfish woman. Her interests come first, above everybody elses, and she will trample anybody who gets in the way of her goals. When it comes to conducting her business, she's cruel, and ruthless- remember Johnny? She beat him to death with her fists and feet just because she suspected he might have said something; even if she knew he hadn't said anything, she probably would have done the same thing, just in case. Her manner of carrying herself is cold and arrogant, and she has no regard for anybody's life other than her own. In speaking, she's usually either aloof or sarcastic- a kind word is not something that's often heard from her, and if it is, it's usually in thinly-disguised jest.
People who have met her say that they would definitely not want the misfortune of meeting her again. When dealing with those she considers to be 'less' then her (which tends to be almost everybody), she doesn't disguise her disdain for them. In any situation, she'll try to take control, not liking to be ordered around and told to do things by, again, what she considers to be 'lesser beings'.
It could probably be said that she's got a rather extreme case of narcissistic personality disorder. She's fairly obsessed with getting "up there" among the villains, with obtaining great wealth and power. She considers herself to be above the law- never mind the fact that the law's already proven she isn't and thrown her into jail once. Her escape from jail only strengthened this opinion of herself being a 'greater' human being, entitled to things denied to others, and she finds it incredibly irritating and frustrating that others don't seem to recognize this.
Her greatest fear is being forced back into poverty and destitution; her dream, to be one of the 'knowns' in Gotham, for her name to be both feared and admired at the same time, as she feels it should be.
7. Previous Game Developments: None.
8. Appearance: Slim, Little Boy stands at 5 feet, 2 inches tall- usually, though, she doesn't stand. She's constantly moving around, almost never staying still, and is often crouching, as if ready to spring at someone and attack if they say something wrong. Although beautiful, it's that mean kind of beauty- cold, haughty, and something she'll use as another tool for her advantage. Her black hair is usually kept piled messily on top of her head, to keep it out of the way, although sometimes she'll wear it down. And, while I'm not trying to be crude here, it's made clear throughout the comics that she is rather endowed in the chest department. But then in comics, they always are, aren't they?
She dresses almost exclusively in black, since she tends to stay in the shadows as much as possible. Little Boy is usually clad in a pair of simple, clingy leggings, topped off by a tank top made of the same material. Over the shirt she wears a waist cincher, covered in straps and buckles.
She also has a tattoo on the back of her left shoulder, which is of intertwining red and purple symbols, which can be seen here-

She's even able to run up and kick Batman in the back of the head before he even realizes that she's there. Her speed isn't supernatural or some kind of jacked up, crazy super power- she's just fast. She's also a very good fighter, fighting with what seems to be a combination of street-fighting and a kind of martial arts; in the comics, she's shown as being able to hold her own against Batman. In the non-combat areas of skills, she can run a business pretty handily, and despite her small stature, has proven herself able to lord it over others and intimidate well.

13. Writing sample - Third Person Prose:
The other day, Fatman told Little Boy that he loved her.
She had been sitting cross-legged on the floor, her chin cupped in her hand, brow furrowed in frustrated concentration as she looked over the sheets of figures spread out in front of her. Her hair was coming out of its loose pile atop her head, strands of it falling across her face, the darkness of it providing stark contrast to her pale skin. When he said it, she ignored him at first, the words taking a few moments, then another few, to register in her mind. She glanced up at him, the end of a pen in her mouth, with a frown. “What?”
He asked her not to make him repeat himself, please don't make him, but of course she did. Then she laughed at him- her laughter high and cold, ringing, harsh. It was only when he forced out a chuckle, a chuckle that quickly died; it was only when his eyes slid sideways, away from her, and an almost puppy-like look of sadness settled onto his face that she stopped laughing. She stopped laughing and simply stared at him, tucking the pen behind her ear, running a hand through her hair, mouth slightly agape in disbelief.
“You're kidding,” she said.
“You can not possibly be serious,” she said.
When he didn't answer her with words, when he answered her with his eyes instead, she stood up, slowly, carefully, lifting her arms above her and lacing her hands together over her head, leaning in a stretch to one side, then the other. She walked over to him, clambering up his giant form to perch on his shoulder like she always did, covering his eyes with her slender hands and leaning around to place a kiss on his lips, shushing any further words he had to say.
He meant nothing to her, but he didn't have to know that.
14. Writing sample - First Person: (Note- sample from a previous game, Knights of Gotham) I don't like this. At all. Not one little bit, actually. Whoever did this, I'm talking to you. If you wanted to get back at me for, well... for whatever I did, this isn't the right way to do it. It would be one thing if you'd just knocked me out and taken me somewhere- some shady back-alley building, tried to rough me up a bit, prove whatever pathetic little point you're trying to make.
But to bring me to a replicate Gotham? What the hell is wrong with you? Get a hobby or a girlfriend or something. Or maybe a life. It will do you good, I promise.
15. Tattoo: The back of her neck.
