I just got back from taking the Sister to the clinic, where she has been diagnosed with "either bronchitis or pneumonia, we're not sure which" with a side effect of asthmaAsthma, in my sister who is very active and has never previously shown any indication of it. well the renovations were getting rid of asbestos weren't they? ...i don't actually know if asbestos gives you asthma but i know it's bad for you and therefore there could be other noxious chemicals in there...

Either way, that really sucks.

yeah, but i am pretty sure they got all the asbestos out first thing, so i would be us getting sick from that not amy.
maybe it is just a crock of shit? like, a really bad diagnosis? maybe she should get a second opinion.

although i would support the second opinion. My friend got really sick last semester (they still don't know what's wrong with her) and had bronchitis and was having asthma-like attacks so they put her on a puffer but ended up deciding she didn't have asthma so she's doesn't have the puffer anymore. Point being: similar situation with mysterious illnesss involving bronchitis and asthma-like symptoms but a lack of asthma.
