this.

this is so, so lovely and beautiful and I love the way you put the words together to create this fic. I love never let me go and it's brilliant of you to write this in that verse; you're brilliant.

I really enjoyed this so thank you!

so beautiful in its sadness, and so sad in its beauty. even before the story even starts, you know they're already at the end; the title is perfect. your writing is gorgeous, and the flow of this story is seamless. this particular line hurts so good: "this Yixing, that looks at him and says, I love you; that says, with the same mouth, let me break you." thank you for sharing this ;;

thank you so much! it's probably the first time i've given the title what could be considered actual, serious thought, so i'm glad to hear you mention it, haha.

This is literally one of the most beautiful fanfics I have ever read. I love how a lot of the writing is spoken in metaphors and very ... vague? A lot of the emotions between krislayhan were not clearly defined and made the sadness and loss so much more poignant. Luhan is hands down my favorite character, his walls are so highly built he refuses to let anything good come in because he might get hurt but when he finally lets them down he knowingly and willingly lets Yixing break his hurt because of how much he loves him ( ... )

I wanted to reflect, to some degree, the fact that they themselves aren't fully cognisant of their feelings or their relationships; to tell the story the way they (Lu Han, specifically) would. so thank you for such a thoughtful comment! (don't cry!) ♥
