LILY EVANS

Lily is the love of his life ever since second year. Or rather, that’s when he realised it. Since then he’s been asking her out as much as he possibly could. But since they joined the community, it’s been different. Especially after the fiasco of the Confundus Charm. James feels extremely embarrassed and is avoiding her as much as possible.
After careful thought, he did give her an anonymous birthday gift but for the first time since he realised his feelings, he didn’t ask her out at Valentines’ Day. While he dated Suze, he got back his courage to talk to her and now Snape has arrived on the comm, he wants to be there for her even more.

REMUS LUPIN

Remus is one of his two best friends. James found out he was a werewolf in their second year and has kept the secret to this day. Even though he jokes about his furry little problem, he takes it very seriously and would do almost anything to help him in his transformations. This is why he spent three years becoming an illegal Animagus.
Before the community, before knowing his future, James would quite happily sacrifice himself to save Remus from his monthly terror. But now he knows about Harry, he’s more wary of changing things for the worse than for the better.
He felt extremely happy when he started to date Sirius and hopes that they can resolve their differences after Sirius’ stupidity because they made an amazing couple.

SIRIUS BLACK

Sirius is his other best friend, fellow Animagus, prankster and detention buddy. Practically inseparable. They been friends since first year and James can’t imagine Hogwarts without him. Sirius is great in a pinch but not so good at the serious stuff, always joking around. But he’s always tried to be there for James, especially when it came to Lily and they both enjoy torturing Snape together.
Since they joined the community, nothing much has changed. But James is especially glad of it when he found out about Sirius’ parents. Although it wasn’t long after his stupidity with Snape and Moony, James would never let Sirius stay in his parents’ home after the attack and now he’s in the room opposite his own. He’s glad Sirius is out of that house and he’s got his friend close all summer long.

HARRY POTTER

Harry is James’ son and even if James is only five years older than him, he loves him like a father does. He may not have any idea what he’s doing, and he’s asked Harry not to call him Dad, but he’s always going to be there for him and he’s going to try not to die in his future so at least one Harry has a father.
Harry is one of the reasons James is thankful for the community. Without it, Harry would never have been able to meet him and James hopes they can meet face to face one day soon.
James knows his relationship with Harry was very strained during his relationship with Suze as Suze is not his mother, but he’s hopeful that that can be resolved especially now Harry has his letter and will be going off to Hogwarts in September. James is super proud of him and can’t wait to help him and teach him through the community, even if he won’t let on who his mother is.

ALBUS DUMBLEDORE

Dumbledore used to be from his future and gave him invaluable information about it. But a few months ago, he was killed. By Severus Snape. Now James is hoping to change that especially as Snape is now on the community.
Another Dumbledore has also joined the community. He’s a lot younger and James hasn’t spoken to him much. He’s not sure what to make of him and has decided to observe and learn more because he never knew this side of his Professor.

KURT HUMMEL

Kurt is someone would he would definitely call a friend if someone asked, even though they didn’t get off on the right foot. Their friendship blossomed over his interaction with Karofsky and his outward nature towards his sexuality has helped James overcome his homophobia. James gave Kurt some anonymous money over Christmas to help him out and will always try and be there is he needs him.
They haven’t talked in a while though James was very happy to see Kurt with his own boyfriend.

ROXAS

Roxas is another person from the community James would call a friend. He was previously worried about his disappearance but he’s very glad he’s back. He can’t wait to take Roxas to Diagon Alley for ice cream, continue being his friend and showing him other worlds.

SUZE SIMON

Suze…is complicated. She started out as a friend but after the fiasco with Lily, he decided to ask her out on Valentine’s Day. She accepted and they dated for several months before she dumped him right before Dumbledore’s death. Since then, James hasn’t spoken to her at all though he did worry about her when she posting about her actions on the community.

PETER PETTIGREW

Peter was a very good friend of James. He still is, but not as much. Since he found out Peter’s involvement in his death, he’s been distant. But eventually he exploded and told Peter everything. He can only hope that Peter can help change the future and not betray them to Voldemort as had been told by Dumbledore.

Ferb is one of James’ favourite people that he’s met on the community. He used the boy’s worldhoppping device and spent a week in Danville as a holiday from everything that was happening on his world. They’ve become very close and James even helped Ferb learn about magic. James will always try and watch Ferb’s back because to him, Ferb saved his life with that holiday.

Snape is an interesting acquaintance. He’s from the same year that Harry is and seems to have a thing for Lily. He’s told James quite a lot about the future he knows in order to help James change it and James isn’t sure what to make of the kindness. James is going to watch him like he’s watching the younger Dumbledore and see where it leads while trying to see how his relationship with Lily pans out.
