Kiss!

I hesitate to get my hopes up too high, but the previews are looking better. It looks like a real kiss although I am left wondering why they have to change everything. I guess they went with George interrupting instead of Ron for comic relief ( Read more... )

George is way too funny in this so that sort of makes up for them going the noncanon way again. I wish the kiss was longer, though, and why are the angles so weird? You can hardly see the actual kiss!

ugh, that dreaded Harry/Hermione dance. Why is Harry smiling? They're supposed to be devastated that Ron left!

I'm hoping that's not the whole kiss, that they've cut it and that is why the angles seem strange. It's definitely an odd cut.

Who knows with the dance scene. It is not what I expected.

From the interview with Emma Watson it sounds like the movie may be opening with the scene of her obliviating her parents. My initial thought was let's just rename it Hermione Granger and the Deathly Hallows.

LOL - no kidding.

Thanks for posting this clip. The H/G kiss is at an odd angle - hopefully there's more of it.

I think they released it yesterday in honor of your birthday. Hope you had a great day!

Hmmm...I'm sure that there is more prelude to the kiss, but as for the actual kiss I'm not sure. I hope that there is (because the angle is weird and you can't actually see much and I soooo want there to be some hawtness), but I can't imagine them cutting it differently for the trailer than it is in the movie. Which is unfortunate because we H/G shippers would KILL for such a thing.

It also worries me because the sneak peeks have talked at length about the Voldie-Harry/Voldie-Hermione kiss--and if that one is steamier than this one then-- :(

George is super funny though. I'm glad that they used him for some comic relief.

I feel quite certain the Voldie-Harry/Voldie-Hermione kiss will be steamier from the way it has been talked about. Plus, it's just the way they roll.
