I've written this before, but I was thinking about it more today and I decided that it was worthy of title. I call it:

Patrick's Proportional Property of Preparational PalatabilityYes, I made up a word for my property. I don't care. My law states that the longer it takes to cook something, the more delicious it is. And to my knowledge, it is true ( Read more... )

Hmm. First of all, I can't prove something that's a matter of opinion but I have a few questions for you to consider...

So you like burnt steak better than medium well?
So you like deep dish pizza better than pan or thin crust?
So you like brownies better than cookies?

I personally am a big fan of grilled cheese and that doens't take too long.

And I think your theory should be titled "P." But I guess your title took longer to cook up so its better. ;)

Well obviously if we are talking about the same foodstuff, the longer cooking time requires less heat per minute. I'd rather have a steak cooked on low heat for ten minutes than one cooked on high heat for two.

I do like deep dish and brownies better =)

I like a pot pie a hundred times more from the oven than from the microwave. Spaghetti sauce is deliciouser after it's simmered in the crockpot all afternoon. I'm going to have to try cooking grilled cheese in the oven. I bet it is yummier.

And haha, my LAW (thank you, Juliet) is better with the alliteratitle.
