ADVANTAGE is not the word you meant to use here i believe... or else you've just completely contradicted yourself. People ask artists for a piece only when they admire you-what you create-YOUR ART i mean. it never becomes theirs for asking so, and you are always going to be the one creating it no matter what. So what if nobody wanted your art? then your art would be floating nowhere but just around your own little space-- and never get out there in the world-- like a bunch of self-portraits tied up together under your bed... In otherwords, appriciate it when people ask you to do something for them. they ask, for they feel some kind of connection with your art. It's a good thing ofcourse. hey other people likes your art too! you should be rather proud then say no :) your art is never going to become theirs just because you draw it for them, It stays where you are. You are not really losing anything. they want a piece of you art, because they probably love it as much as you do<33 and thats not called taking an advantage
