I love your quote for the year!

And the links to outside sites related to the categories is a good idea -- I should add that.

Thank you :) It's going to be an interesting year LOL

I love the way you set yours up! So focused, with resolutions, new skill sets, 365 designs, and fitness progress. But the loves by month is a fantastic idea too, to catch all the fun details that are so easy to forget later. (Plus your tinypic icons for the different categories, but then I always love your elegant, understated design choices, so that's kind of a given.) I'm going to have to think about it a bit, I might redesign/add categories.

Oh, Kimberly, stop making me blush!

I absolutely love doing the 'loves by month', because even in March, I forgot what I had readily squeed about in January.

Thank you for such a lovely compliment. I'm just not a flashy person in many aspects (except for my gratuitous pictures :P), and my design reflects that. I love minimalism and elegance in design. And, when that minimalism and elegance delivers a product/service forward and solves a problem, that's charisma.

A designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Tell me when you update so I can see the fabulous things done to it!

Actually, I've been thinking about your design firm. I want to learn the whole process myself to understand how it works, so I'm going to do most of my own covers for ebooks (at least for their first release, since I can always upgrade later once they've earned out their initial expenses). But when I eventually do print, I want a cover I love (plus when I have enough titles to justify a publishing press/catalog/website)... I keep thinking how closely your tastes match mine. At some point, I might have to snag you for a serious conversation about how our paths might align for a bit.

Not soon, but I keep thinking about it when you start talking design things.

Oh, wow, first off, that would be an honor on my end. I'll just throw this out here that I don't specialize in publication design and that stuff, but would be more than happy to talk to you about strategic ways my design ~expertise can help market you and your work. I specialize in consumer product, exhibition/museum, and trade show design, but have worked with graphics, print, and promo collateral :)

But, yay, that would be so fun!
