Taekwoon was not having a good day. It had started with a rough awakening from a bad dream, tangled within his blankets and drenched in sweat. His neck was numb; his body sore as he was scrunched up against the wall. Someone's limb was pressed up against the back of his neck, twisting his head in an awkward position. Taekwoon turned to meet his space intruder, his muscles shot with a sudden uncomfortable pain. It was a foot, uncomfortably close to his face. He knew right away who this foot belonged to. The owner was stretched out over his futon, snoring away peacefully.

"Jaehwan-ah," he nudged the foot with his shoulder, "Move over."

The brunette did nothing but snort a little in his sleep. So instead of jostling the other main vocal awake, he decided to promptly kick the boy in the ribs.

A grunt came from the once sleeping recipient of Taekwoon's attack, followed by a flurry of movement.

"Taekwoon-hyung that hurt," Jaehwan whined as he sat up, his morning voice hoarse.

The latter boy didn't respond; he just repositioned himself comfortably before closing his eyes once again. Jaehwan frowned and lay next to him, properly this time.

Taekwoon had a sore neck the whole morning because of him. It was hard to turn his head in a different direction, much less dancing properly. To make matters worse, he lost his earphones sometime during lunch break. He had to face the loud obnoxious noise of the rest of the members in full volume.

But that wasn’t all the day had in store for him. It was halfway through the rest of practice when Hyuk had accidentally tripped and toppled over him. It caused them to fall to the ground in a messy heap.
The Maknae’s first response was to laugh, but when he noticed the murderous expression on the elder’s face, he immediately stopped.

“I-I’m sorry,” he stood, nervously holding his hands up, “I wasn’t paying attention-“

“Just run,” Jaehwan cried out, just as Taekwoon lunged at the youngest member.

Ravi had to physically drag Taekwoon out of the room so that he wouldn't beat the poor boy to death.

Practice ended with Haekyeon screeching at him for being so unnecessarily angry at his “little baby”. Taekwoon sulked.
He was not feeling very happy what so ever. After practice, he curled up on the couch sulking about the unfortunate events.

"Hyung, it's time to eat," Hongbin made his way over.

Taekwoon didn't respond, as usual. He stared into the empty space in front of him, frowning.

"Come on," Hongbin nudged him lightly, "everyone's gonna eat your share if you don't come."

The latter boy just looked at Hongbin for half a second, then turned back to stare at the wall.

Hongbin sighed and walked out of the room, causing Taekwoon to feel even more upset. He was feeling sad, and the visual wasn’t noticing; he threw an inner tantrum.

“Hyuung…”

Hongbin was back, holding a tray of their dinner; rice and steamed vegetables. It was a healthy dinner as always. Taekwoon shifted over, making room for the younger boy.

“You look like you need company,” Hongbin placed down the tray and took a seat next to the sulking boy, "is there something wrong?"

Taekwoon initially shook his head, paused, then nodded.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

He shook his head.

Hongbin hooked an arm around him, "cheer up."

Taekwoon just frowned and curled into the younger boy, without a reply. The brunette smiled and let him.

Taekwoon was having a bad day, but getting the time to wind down made things a little better; just a bit.

“Now come on, let’s eat before your food gets cold.”

“… Okay.”
