I shouldn't have read this so late. Protests always piss me off, and you had to go and kill off my sweet Minbaby. I am very vulnerable right now, and in dire need of kitten videos.

The 1960s saw some really violent protests, both in the east and west. The States saw the civil rights movements, the student movements with protesting the war, women's rights movements, gay rights, and then environmental rights which extended into the 1970s. Too many of these protests saw violence. It's so easy to overlook the individuals whose lives were changed or destroyed by them.

Aside from wanting to sob until I puke, this was a well-written fic. I did enjoy it. The summary's kind of misleading, I think, but still applies with its vagueness. (I was thinking of some Romeo and Juliet action going on. I was only partly wrong.)

=^..^=~

asiojdIJSOIAD it hurt to kill off minnie too ;; but you're spot on, a lot of protests had casualties ranging from injuries to mass death and no one really pauses to think about the people who lost their lives -whether they were an important figure or another face in a crowd- in the attempt of progress. so having a death or casualty in this sort of event would be understandable since it DID actually happen back then.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING AND COMMENTING /sobs/ i really appreciate it ;v; long comments give me life and the motivation to continue writing, bless you. im so glad that you enjoyed it~ and i'm sorry about the summary, i wanted it to sound all ~mysterious~ and totally vague not to mention that summaries are not my forte by any means or that the summary was thought up at probably 3am /nervous sweat/

/hugs you tight/ thank you for this lovely comment, i really enjoyed replying to it keke
