You're right, we should.

I can hunt, identify toxic plants and do a little fishing. A least there's no shortage of water, and there seems to be enough dry wood around to make fires which I'm good for too.

As for fighting, I can shoot and I can fight.

Someone who can tell harmful plants from beneficial will be helpful, as well as fishing, as we will all need to eat.

...I can take care of crafting us some things to eat off of, at least, as well as handling getting some of the wood so that we can all have decent fires.

Actual survival though, using natural resources and all that... This world is too different from mine for any 'skills' I have to cross over.
