I got hit with a tiny bit of snow (mostly rain, but a small bit of snow mixed in) on Saturday as I braved the Shankill Road on my way to Albert Foundry. Something and nothing, although it was our first bite this winter and we had none last time out so it was - briefly at least - a welcome change. Mind you there's supposedly more tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be sick of it again soon.
Too hard to walk in, holes in my shoes letting in water (applies to rain just as much, admittedly), public transport just ceases after the slightest flurry and we're a spiteful bunch in Belfast so if you fall nobody helps you, they just laugh. I've never really got the appeal of snow to be honest, although I suspect that is influenced by just how badly we as a people cope with it here. Perhaps if we were more used to it things might be a lot better like in Sweden or your part of the world but it throws this place into absolute chaos, so no thanks.
