I love the original, im pretty sure it was people on LJ that made me watch it :p Do try it if you can :)
Its about a secret covert organisation that recruits people from prison to become their operatives, they train them to be spies and assassins. Except Division works for bad guys while everyone who works their thinks they are good guys. The original focused on Nikita, who was imprisoned for a crime she didnt commit - sentenced for death and recruited by division, she doesnt want to be their but she has no choice.

Merlin - its a bit hit and miss admittedly sometimes, but its fun watching :)
