How did I not notice this stuff before? I've been going through the election's online news and blogosphere and have been completely AMAZED at the venom amongst the various candidates supporters. In both parties! Like... holy shit

Assuming that by Conserva-crat you still mean Clinton, all I gotta say is that you're surprised how?
Her whole campaign has been 'attak him so fast that people don't realize I have just as little actual experience as he does' since the whole thing started.
Now I have no choice but to either vote for a GOP guy (none of which really appeal... if I could take bits and parts from each and make one candidate that would be ideal...) or waste my primary vote in a 3rd party.
Probalby just going to go with Romney just because I hate him less than McCain and Huckabee is just a liberal in GOP clothing.
Hey, there we go. You could vote for Huckabee. You're still getting a liberal that's not Clinton that way!
*snicker* He's not THAT liberal. Though he is more beatable in the general election than Romney. Romney is almost cartoonishly the stereotype politician.
And it's not primary rules BS. Edwards and Obama refused to register for the Michigan primary. You can't even do write-ins for them because they didn't turn in the paperwork.
So I could either do the bullshit unethical thing and vote for the more defeatable Huck & Chuck or vote uncommitted.

The sad thing is, that Obama isn't even on the ticket in Michigan due to primary rules BS (and the war between the Iowa and MI© farm lobbies). I was kinda looking forward to voting for Obama as an independent to to my part to make sure that Clinton wasn't on the ticket in the general election.
