and unfortunately not in season. Bother. Wild turkeys have nearly run me off the road in Michigan, mostly by startling me, flying out from bushes. At 45 mph on a two-lane road, This Is A Problem.

Somerville had one last week prowling Broadway by Ball Square. Darnedest thing.

Except I don't think turkeys count as fowl. IIRC, that's stuff like ducks and geese.
