i just found out my grandfather george had a stroke. two weeks after he got out of the hospital for a heart attack.
he has a 50% chance of surviving.
i have to figure out how to move fast and get out of here and tickets are a shitload because i can't wait the requisite 14 days before i leave.
does anyone know if they offer deals for family health

I know that they offer bereavement rates if a family member dies, but I haven't heard anything about family illness. Give the airline a call and ask--can't hurt to try.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather, and I hope he beats the odds!

Sorry about your gpa.
As far as I know you can only get deals with a death...and you have to produce a death certificate.
Where is grandpa?

Sending George good vibes and you a nice neck massage/back scratch combo.
My last Noke job was at Travelmasters& I only ever heard of bereavement fares. The Death Certificate thing is mega morbid, and I hated having to break that one out to really sad perfect strangers over the phone.
