I've heard that the John Ringling Causeway, the bridge that connects Sarasota to Longboat Key, has been destroyed. Can anyone in Sarasota confirm this?

well they built that new one...so they prolly destroyed the old one..

'Tis true. They took out the middle chunk, leaving the ends as fishing piers.
The new bridge rocks so much though.

The new bridge is the Causeway. I don't know what the old one was called, but I was like "WTF!?!" when you said the causeway got destroyed. Regardless, the old one (the drawbridge) did get demolished.
