Also, I'll keep an eye out for peoples' shoes if I see them. Someone said a lot of them are up in trees?

Yeah, but... It's not like we can get another pair, if we can't find them. And I wouldn't want to walk around barefoot or in socks all the time here.

But everyone's acting like it's the end of the world. They're just shoes, Dawn! Your feet'll get tougher if you don't find them anyway, eventually.

If I had to pick between losing my shoes or having horrible nightmares, I'd pick the shoes every time. Nobody complains where everyone can see about the demons running wild trying to eat people or the dementywhatsits that Harry taught people to protect against, but...
