Baktus Scarf

So I’ve been in bed pretty much all week recovering from the oral surgery I mentioned I would be having awhile ago. Monday morning I had my wisdom teeth out and I also had a worrisome lesion removed from a separate part of my mouth for a biopsy.[1]

On Sunday night in preparation for bedrest I started a simple cotton scarf for some comfort knitting

Oh, ouch! Hope you're healing well. Miss E had her wisdoms out in the fall and I was on full time Mom duty for about four days...

Wow, sorta early for her! I'm sure if she hasn't yet, she will realize at some point how glad she is to have had such an awesome mom to look after her while she healed!

I can't imagine having to go through that without someone looking out for you...urgh! Miss E's orthodontist wanted it done before she was 14 so that all the work she had wouldn't be undone by her wisdom teeth. Her braces have been off for about a year and half now and she really doesn't want to go there again!

Yeah that makes sense. I would imagine wanting to avoid more braces too!
