How would you say Little Brother compares to Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom? Better or worse? I think Cory Doctorow is a wee bit overhyped.

you know, i remember virtually nothing of down and out in the magic kingdom, so my tentative answer is better. but i should probably wait until finishing it to say for sure, as it could easily take a turn for the worse.

oh, they were on last night - and were really good - but espn usually reruns them so you could probably catch a repeat if you're inclined. and some of the clips are available online.

my cousin wants me to go visit her in north carolina so she can show me around the fanciest library she's ever seen.

also, tickets for the vaselines have been purchased. july 9th at maxwell's in hoboken, and i am super-excited. scotland forever, my friend.

Aw, I loaned out my Little Brother ARC. I really want to read it! So many people are talking about how awesome it is.

well, i finished it tonight and while it's not perfect, it's quite a book and gives one lots to think about and i'd kind of love it if it turned everyone who read it into a little hacker, so it's worth getting back when the occasion presents itself.

and lisa just bugs me, in oh-so-many ways, especially when she remains in the wake of other players i like being kicked off. but, such is the nature of reality tv. i do love that you called her a bad news bear though. it's ever so apt!
