At the Blue cross animal shelter twelve years ago a six month old Rottie x Great Dane x German Shepard x God only knows what bounced impatiently in her small kennel waiting for someone to want her, she had already had three homes and was getting rather worried no one would cope with the paws that she had yet to grow into ( Read more... )

This week my heart has been ripped out and torn into a million bits, first Sherman and then my dog Doobie..the world has stopped turning, but I wanted to thank you all for your kind words, hugs and thoughts when I am coping a bit better I will thank you all in person, but for now Debs and Rudyard Kipling express things much better than I can ( Read more... )

Sherman my fine 21 year old cat died last night and my sister and her husband Rod are stars (but you knew that right?) I rang up at stupid o'clock last night and howled down the phone and they came over and helped me bury him in a fine spot under the willow tree ( Read more... )
