I got somewhere in the 16-20 range (I didn't look too closely).

I think it's a little skewed - they've got Hitchhiker's Guide, Harry Potter and Incident etc. etc. Night on there, and books like them, which while they are good, aren't all literary greats, certainly not on par with some of the rest of this list.

Also having Complete Shakespeare and then Hamlet's a bit of a cop out

I only had 13. But honestly, they shouldn't have series all lumped up together, or have a series and a book from that series as well.

Also, does it really matter that we haven't read the "great" "classics"?
