We might be able to help on bedding/sheets, if you don't mind used but clean. Be sure to give me as detailed a list as you can after you visit yr mom's storage unit. Alos, which TV do you want, the big on or the little one?
No, I don't mind used but clean, at least not from you guys-- the new bed is a queen. I'll know better what sort of household-y stuff I need this week when I go to the storage unit (thurs. morning or Fri. afternoon). As for the TV... I don't know. I know your parents are gonna nag you about it, incessantly, but I don't know if a) Jar is bringing a TV or b) if I'm not just gonna take mom's TV. She keeps going back and forth about whether she'll let me have it, but the steady "when's P. gonna take that TV?" from their end of things is really starting to bug me, so I may opt to just not deal, or if unkyjar is bringing a TV I may not need one. I don't know, I'll figure it out later this week. I gotta get ready for work.
They haven't been giving me any shit lately since I've been sick & all. It's ok. I can deal with it. You may want to opt for the smaller one if unky is bringing a big one, or you may want the big one. I don't care either way. Check w/ him and advise when you can. No worries.
Um, ALL homes and apartments in Houston have AC, sometimes several of them, often times central AC. You probably will not need to buy one. If P can't find you two a decent Apt with central AC & heat, you may not want to be living with him, and I may have to beat him thoroughly about the head and shoulders with a large stick. Not sure about the guns, but it's Texas - we're pretty loose on the gun laws. If they are actually registered in your name, you shouldn't have any problems at all. You probably won't have any problems even if they aren't.
Yeah, J. is right, Houston has AC, anywhere I'll find will have AC of some kind, likely central air, because, well, we'd die without AC. All the rest of the stuff sounds good. Leave your TV in NY, we'll get one-- either from J's folks or from my mom. Or, hell, maybe both, just the be excessive. I don't think you'll have issues with the guns, but I would recommend traveling with them locked in something or with trigger locks or both-- crossing state lines with firearms is always dicey.
I'm way tired from work, I'll post some sort of reply after naptime.
