Most of you didn't know Nick, but a few of you did, and at least you knew he was my friend. His funeral was this morning.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I didn't know Nick well, but I do know that you were friends, and that he threw you some really great parties.

Thanks for the kind words. I just read about your emergency appendectomy. I'm glad that turned out okay, and I hope you get back to 100% as soon as possible - 100% Q is a force for to be reckoned with on the side of the good guys.

I am so sorry to hear this. :(

May I ask what happened?

Years and years of colon/intestinal cancer. He finally just stopped fighting, I think. He was different after his most recent surgery, like he had just had enough. Obviously losing a friend is a shock, but I can't say it was entirely surprising.
