How it came up is not important, but I just found myself penning an elaborate etymology for the word "confetti." Some of it might be true, but I doubt it, and that's not what matters. I think our air conditioner went out.  Normally, when that sort of thing happens in OCTOBER, it's not a big deal.  So why am I sweating like crazy?
