Update of sorts...

Well Im just going to toss this behind a cut now before I forget...

Well lets see....Nothing really new, applied at some restaurants, all of them said that they dont hire servers without experience or smart serve certification. Im not going through another certification process again. If anything, I'd do it again for another course Canfit (my PT school) offers.

Chris Cornell on Saturday and I havnt even thought of what the hell Im going to wear, make-up, hair etc. Basically wardrobe is being planned around platforms just not sure if it'll be boots or shoes. Sigh. Krissy said she'd do my hair for me but I think we will be leaving fairly early saturday morning not sure either of us will have time, since she'll probably be working. Times like these make me wish I was just a bit more girly. Meh whatever. I thought of using the gift certificate I got from my dad to the nail salon but meh, Im still not into that. I have a feeling that certificate will never get used.

Easter went well. It was odd having a family get together without any major arguing or anything like that. We had Easter lunch sunday, mostly an Indian lunch, Ryan made up a batch of butter chicken, Del made her usual chicken curry and keema (curried ground beef) Biranyi, and some Chicken madras. Mmm. Oh yeah Nick made a Ham. Lunch was eaten and everything was cleaned up within 2 hours, which was good cuse I wanted everyone out of my apartment by that time anyways.

Both Nick and I agreed we'd go light on the chocolate this year since Joey never eats candy or anything like that and Madison wouldnt stop eating it last year. However, when Del and Willard brought down their "Easter Bunny" gifts, that went out the window. Good thing Ryan has a sweet tooth.

Joey has been invited to a birthday party for a kid in his class, its his first one, hes excited, they are going bowling. The party sadly, is on saturday, when I'll be in Toronto. So thankfully arrangements have been made and Del will pick him up and drive him to my dads afterwards. Sorta sucks we will miss it. Now I have to go and buy a gift for that brat.

The Woodstock thing... still goes on. Ryan isnt saying much but hes sending mixed signals. One day he says "I just dont picture us owning anything ever" then the next "You should contact their city hall and find out about running a business out of the house". Sigh. Ryan thinks moving to another city for a job is sorta silly, I always thought thats what people did. Go to where the opportunity takes them. Income tax came back and the amount is correct, so Im not sure.
Part of me just wants to pack up myself and just go. Ive lived on my own before I can do it again but then of course that put my relationship in a not so good place. I sorta feel as if Im being held back. Ive always felt Ryan has held me back in my journey to Personal Training. It took me almost 5 years to get to the course, now I can pick out of 4 different gyms to work at and hes uneasy about going there.
Part of me thinks, this is just his way of keeping me a stay at home mom, since hes never agreed to me working but I never cared and went back to work anyways. I always felt it was more my choice anyways, since Im the one who has to worry about the child care situation, or I'd be the one who'd have to stay home. This stint of unemployment is the longest Ive been out of work since Joey was born.

I'd love to go to Woodstock. It would be nice a comprise between the to of us since I'll never ever live in country and Ryan hates the city. It encourages active living and in fact they are putting in more trails. In Kitchener, they've taken so many away to cram more people here.

Pearl Jam, they really put things into perspective, the song Gone...hits the nail on the head...
