I have no clue... gosh that sounds frustrating. I know nothing about raising children, but I remember that peer pressure was really effective in squelching that kind of thing in school. Of course who knows what kind of emotional scars it leaves. I just remember that in the first grade, the kids with embarrassing personal habits, after being mocked and jeered by all of their classmates, shaped up in a hurry.
