Joining the League of the Online Savvy

i feel a certain hesitation within myself about writing just anything for the first entry. it can't just be like any other entry, because it's the first in a new, supposedly important thing/phase/fill-in-the-blank in my life. as an online entity, anyone with an internet connection can supposedly find my journal and read it. therefore, i have to ( Read more... )

Jill!!!!!!!! Welcome to LJ at last! Ilyssa and I were talking last night, and mentioned how when you go out you know people at the clubs now, and I said "well, if she'd just get a livejournal, she'd know EVERYBODY really quickly!" And lo and behold!

Anyways, I wouldn't worry about making your journal interesting (though I found it to be). IMO, livejournal's aren't supposed to be interesting to the world at large, or Joe Shmoe internet surfer, but rather to the people who find YOU interesting. If they want to know about your life, then it's interesting.

Side note: I'm having a birthday party at my apartment on Friday, Feb. 20th. You are most definitely invited, if you can make it!

(BTW, this is Rachel, though one assumes that's obvious from the screenname)
