Did any of you have a specific bedtime story that you just couldn't get enough of? When I was very young, my family was in France and that day's trip was to the Paris Opera House. Woohoo! First Post! Diana, he was quite simply an ugly baby. That's all there is to it. If I remember correctly, his mother took some sort of fertility drink. It could have been that. Then again, we are talking about 19th century France. Folk drank...a lot. It could have been FAS. In any case, he most likely was just an ugly baby who grew up to become an ugly person. You know the ones. They're the ugly, but their parents just don't see it, or don't want to. And then they're all "Ooh, look at my precious baby, isn't he adorable?" And you're all like, "Oh my God!! Who opened the fucking Ark of the Covenant?!? Jebus lady, put it back in! Put it back!" Yeah, those babies...the really ugly ones. And then everyone has pictures of said ugly babies that they insist on showing you and then look hurt when you're not like, "Oh my God, that is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life! bahahaha! 2 points for the arc of the covenant line! But really, would the mother's drinking cause OG to be born without a nose? And as the Parisian vermine do resemble Rats of Unusual Size (RUS), why is there a half face mask associated with the phantom? That would fit the acid theory.
