I was somewhat bored the other day and procrastinating on my thesis so I went to the GRE website and downloaded a bunch of practice materials. I want to take the test before they change the format to get rid of all the things I'm good at (analogies and sentence completion) and add a bunch of stuff I don't have any idea how to do (college-level ( Read more... )

Kindree, darling, you know I'll help you with math if you need it. Do you want to know how much of a math geek I am? I ENJOYED doing those math practice problems. And I got the analogy right too. Yea me! (Ducks at the objects being thrown at my head)

When are you going to be home for Spring Break? I have the next two weeks off. Weekends are bad b/c I'll be going to grad schools, but weeks should be doable (crosses fingers).

I'm not really going home for spring break, and my break is I think two weeks away or thereabouts. But I live very close to home, you know. I'm really really busy three days of the week, but monday and tuesday are ok. Or I could maybe meet you in Evanston or something for Kafein on my way home from work. That would be cool. Something. We should definitely get together.

Why do you have two weeks off? You are so lucky.

I'm doing ok on the math. It isn't that hard, it's just forcing my brain to dig up all the stuff it forgot. My boyfriend is good at math, so I'm planning on making him teach me, and if he doesn't know I'll come to you. He's actually physically here, whereas you are wherever you are at this point...I'm trying to keep track, but you seem to be vibrating between Kenyon and other schools, so I'm getting confused.

Vibrating is a really good word. You think you're getting confused? Maybe the 13th or 14th? Or, now that I think of it I'll BE in Evanston visiting Northwestern the ninth through the 12ish (I'm not quite sure when I'm leaving), so that would be really easy. Depends on if I'm driving myself or getting chauffered by by parents.

I've always had two weeks off. I know it's not normal, but I think it is Kenyon's way of making up to us for not getting ANYTHING else off.

Get one of the study guides. Most of the time there's a trick to finding the right answer without going through all the calculations. I got Kaplan.
