i adore black dresses and own a few. people generally just look good in black. it's safe. and because of that, undoubtedly a large percentage of the female attendees will be wearing black. i definitely do not want to blend in to a sea of funeral-wear no matter how foxy that sea may be.
i was just reminiscing the other day about you, by the way. (one of) the time(s) you wanted to take a cab but i opted for the bus and you were just falling around in it for the first five minutes in your suit. hehehe...
i went through this in december when i was trying to find a dress for the company christmas ball. 8 hours of nonstop dress shopping. misery. so listen well, young grasshopper. take yourself to the bel-square mall in bellevue. find a store called Arden B. It's on the 2nd floor somewhere. I can almost guarantee you will find the dress there. So go forth! And find your dresstiny!
haha...dresstiny...
but seriously. its the most amazing store. trust me.
holy crap! dresstiny!! BWAAHAHAHAHAAAHH!!! BWAHAHA! that was superb. i'm at work and everyone just looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "DRESSTINY," i say! DRESSTINY!!
thank you so much for the advice. but, i bought the jessica mcclontlick yesterday. now, my soul can be at ease...

So in that case I'd go with red. sans sequins, of course.
I must have been so graceful. Of all the things to reminisce.
