well, no one could replace kate. but yes, i think it would be fun to actively find a fourth person to complete our troupe for the next eight months (with optional continued friendship). you know, someone with high energy, good sense of humor, no drama, laid back but straight up attitude, almost daily availability, who's willing to commit to us as we would to her and has a high commitment to...gaming. i don't know if it's possible, but it would keep us distracted while kate's gone. plus...

plus, i'd really like to have a girl friend again.

There was this kid, Dylan Gobel, in my fourth grade class. He was probably insane, but he managed to convince some of my friends, and later, me, to play some pseudo d&d pretend game on the playground, in which he was the dm, and determined not only the scenarios and whatnot, but also every theoretical roll that took place, as we had no dice. Understandably, this arrangement got v. old, v. quick. But I still have fondish memories of those recesses.

It's not like your mom did the milkman and you popped out 9 months later. Not at all! You know, your sister looks more like your dad and you look more like your mom. Personally, I think you got the better side of the deal! I simply can't imagine you with freckles. Besides...I'm the only one who can have freckles in this friendship, woman!

Your game-talk reminded me...Brian introduced me to this sweet game and we MUST play it the next time we get together! It is the most chaotic, dynamic, RIDICULOUS game you will ever experience. You will love it! Also, have we ever played Taboo? You and I would make the best team EVER! We would be unstoppable! WORLD DOMINATION WILL BE OURS!!! Well, at least game domination, if nothing else.
