Crafting: Blue Lacy Scarf

Nov 11, 2012 13:07

The slow progress on the blue lacy scarf has met its end. I've finally finished it. This is copied from my Ravelry project page, with some photos added for fun.

Start 11/20/11 - This looks like such a pretty pattern, I hope it comes our alright.

Update 12/1/11 - I’m incredibly frustrated. I just started this pattern last night and I’ve already had to rip it out twice and start over. Somehow I keep ending up with too many stitches on my needles after row 4 that when I get back to row 2, I end up with leftover stitches once I’ve finished the pattern. I’ve read some reviews that the first 20 or so rows are a real pain to get going. I’m just hoping I can make it to row 20. I’ve only gotten as far as 13 before I have to rip it out and start over.

Update 12/2/11 - 100 rows in and I’ve finally gotten the hang of it. This is definitely a pattern you have to pay attention to what you are doing on.

Update 10/20/12 - Finally picked this up again now that I’ve had a year of more complicated knitting to do. Not as bad this time around. Hoping to finish it soon.

Update 11/11/12 - Either I'm a better knitter than I was a year ago when I started thsi project or I've finally gotten the hang of it.
