I love this one. It's got all this apocalyptic imagery and yet it's so optimistic - a kind of reverse "Dirge without Music".

Yes, that describes it exactly. You know that bit Housman has somewhere, about knowing it's poetry when it makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up? Well, that's how I feel about this one.
