Since I knew so little about it, I was just expecting not-so-subtle environmentalism of the Happy Feet variety, so I was completely unprepared for ADORABLE ROBOTS IN LOVE. The first time Wall-E looked up at the stars in loneliness I meeeelted into a puddle of goo and never recovered

Weirdly enough it wasn't the "onoz they're in danger" parts that made me the most weepy, but all the sappy romantic bits. Their love was just, so pure! ;_;
