Yeah. I love the cold, because it lets me sit around in my fuzzy slippers, fuzzy socks, fuzzy pants and fuzzy robe, drinking tea and just generally being a big fuzzy lump who writes. xD But when it gets this cold, crops are a serious concern. Since agriculture is huge part of our economy, freezes like this--especially when they last several days--can really do damage.
On the other hand, it lets me irk all my relatives in Pennsylvania by posting long, complaining messages on my FB about how freezing it is down here. I always get a kick out of telling them that I was forced to wear my corduroy pants and my heavy sweatshirt. XD
And that's my holiday spirit. It's a mischievous one.
That was a wonderful story. It's nice to know that kindness is not completely dead. It's too bad women need to be more careful.
LOL I love your mischievousness. Everything here, cars, trees, roofs, roads, is covered in ice. My son left a friend's apartment, got half way there and slid all the way back. LOL He had to put his jacket on the ground and walk with it under his shoes! I sure hope your crops make it through the cold.
